Hoodies have gone to the dogs since "Animal hoodies" in the early days, so thin and lacking quality. Upon receiving the package from the courier was instantly impressed by the weight. Opening it thought the hoodie was huge. Comparing it to another could see it was not. The head hole is snug so guess helps stops drafts when riding, uncertain as to what those two small chromed metal discs are for on the hood neckline betwixt the lining?
Bobhead have since informed me these are for secure neck closure, would say they are hardly that as insufficient in strength
Am usually an XL these days so go 2XL with Bobhead as tried and purchased a protective County shirt at Riders of Bridgwater. 2XL fit me good and proper with room for movement when riding. Am linking their sizing although listed as european as to where these products are manufactured if you get my drift.
This hoody is substantial, am impressed by how thick it is. On pricing alone comparing the thickness it's worth every penny.
The description states it's lightweight! the 2XL is defo not that and for it am glad. Hood is lined and not too large, though no draw strings just the aformentioned magnets, nothing worse than an enormous hood on a hoodie flapping about in the breeze, sits there nicely without crowding your neck. Arms and body length are bang on for this 102"kilo 6ft"er. I hate it when am struggling to cover my belt. Waistband cuff could do with being a tad more stretchy/closer fitting, I guess you can't have everything with 2XL but looks pretty much like it does on the model ...only more accomodating lol.
